As a native New Orleanian, I count myself very fortunate to have grown up in such a diverse, colorful, and festive place, so inspiring to an artist. The beautiful faces of a cast of local characters, the amazing architecture, the lush tropical foliage, all add to my desire to capture it all on canvas.

My formal training includes the John McGrady Art School in the French Quarter, mastering the basics of good design, and technical use of various mediums. A long career in visual merchandising and textile design, and spending much time in New York and Europe, added to my worldview.

Today I prefer to work in acrylic paint, as well as in oils, on canvas or wood panels, creating portraits and landscapes with an impressionistic flavor, choosing representational themes with the goal of presenting them in an interesting style.

So whether you want your home, a family portrait, your favorite musician, or your pet, captured on canvas, I am happy to oblige. I look forward to producing something wonderful for you.
